The Chebucto Symphony Orchestra is always happy to have new members (positions permitting).
Amateur musicians, particularly string players, are welcome to join us for rehearsal on Tuesday evenings from 7 to 10 p.m. Rehearsals take place at St. Matthew’s United Church Hall at 1479 Barrington Street (at Spring Garden Road) Halifax. We are greatly indebted to St. Matthew’s United Church for the privilege of using their excellent facility.
The annual membership fee is $140 ($50 for students). An audition is not required. Our rehearsal season runs from early September until our final concert in May each year. For more information please contact us.
In the event rehearsal must be cancelled or moved due to weather or scheduling issues, updates will be posted here and members will also be emailed. Please make sure the board has your email address for these important messages.
